"Year 2000" collects archived material from the files of Chinese Hackers. The release marks Chinese Hackers' gradual move from the darkened vaporgoth of his early releases to the current state of dreampunk. Elements of trip hop, nostalgic ambient, and industrial grind come together to form a cohesive whole. Tracks were recorded by Chinese Hackers at various periods between 2016 and 2018.
